I’m Gluten Free
We are pleased to announce we now offer Gluten Free pizza bases. We already have a vast majority of ingredients which are gluten free, but until now customers who are intolerant to gluten weren’t able to create a pizza they would enjoy.
Now with the gluten free pizza bases, we can now offer Pizzas and Garlic Breads that are suitable for Coeliacs.
The main concern when making Gluten Free pizza’s is to ensure that cross-contamination does not occur. We have worked closely with our suppliers and Coeliac UK to ensure every step is taken to reduce this risk.
However we cannot 100% guarantee that this will not happen. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to give us a call on 01302 323334 or ask to speak with one of our chefs in store. We will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
Disclaimer
Every effort has been made to ensure that most of our ingredients are gluten free. We have checked with our manufacturers and have obtained confirmation in writing that our cheese and pepperoni are gluten free.
Even though we have tested our toppings to ensure that they do not contain gluten we are awaiting confirmation from our suppliers. Until then the only pizza’s we can sell our the ones on our website and we will not be able to add any extra toppings.
Steps we are taking
- We store our gluten free bases separately from gluten containing products and they are labeled clearly.
- We only sell Gluten Free pizzas with toppings that have been tested and do not contain Gluten.
- We use separate utensils when making the pizza e.g pizza pans, pizza cutters.
- We wash our hands thoroughly before touching any Gluten Free pizza
- Every Gluten free pizza box is labeled with a “I’m Gluten Free” sticker.
